* Trey on acoustic, full band ** Trey solo acoustic *** Trey bantered alot while he played acoustic with bass and drums. He took alot of time introducing Russ and Tony, talked about how neither will play fills or solos. Whenever a jam gets intense "like AGHHH", they just dig deeper into their groove. They are "the groovinest.... most groovin'... groovinest isn't a word... most groovy, grooviest, that's it" (much applause) then he made each play a "solo" to show that they just play the same rhythm by themselves as when all three play. He went on to say "but seriously, i want to thank all of you for coming, i want you to know that i'll never forget where this energy comes from. i just can't thank you enough for your continued support of these projects." # With Page McConnell playing Trey's keyboard Trey said that he appreciated all those who continue to come out and that he loves each and every one of us. He also said that as long as we keep coming out he will do his best to make sure it never ends...

* - a special instrumental arrangement of Bob Marley's "Small Axe," arranged by The Upsetters. ** - Trey dedicated this to his dad *** - not certain; may be something else **** - first time played (Stevie Wonder cover) + - no horns; Tony says, "Is that your hair or a rug?"; long and ambient Trey keyboard solo in the middle ^ - 23-24 minutes! ^^ - Trey altered the chorus with each pass, to "Dave Grippo's going to do it to you" and Dave took a solo, then "Jennifer's going to do it to you" then she took a solo, then "Tony's going to do it to you" then Tony took a solo, then "maybe we'll have to get the crew to do it you" then a closing bit ^^^ - acoustic as in Boston, then the band left stage for the next two songs; Trey tuned guitar for a long time, mentioning that Leo Kottke and Jimi Hendrix were the best tuners ever ^^^^ - Trey told story of how this was originally written on acoustic guitar but hand't been played that way since... although he played it acoustic in Asheville on his last solo tour, and at the Clifford Ball in the acoustic set

# Trey on keys ## Last time Phish played just Landlady was 12/3/94 (ironically DMB opened that show) ### Full bad with Trey and Tony acoustic. The crowd was yelling "Virginia loves you Trey," and he said back "Thank you, i love virginia too, very cool place to play music. Hey isn't that famous line, Virginia is for lovers?" (crowd went nuts). Then trey said, I'm originally from Jersey, I don't know what to say, what comment would you say about that??" Tony reminded him the Garden State, and Trey, apparently not clearly hearing Tony responded, "the Garbage state?" he then said "New Jersey is for turn pikes i guess." #### Trey solo acoustic % With Dave Matthews. Dave played guitar on Everyday and Three Little Birds. They played some sort of an exit march; Mike was playing cymbals, and Trey was playing a bass drum. The crowd followed them outside until the band vanished backstage through a side door.
