Well, yeah I have...it's about as stripped down and 180 degrees from Critters as I have seen-and I see Skerik at least 2-3 times a month. The show I am referring to happened one Monday night at a tiny bar in the Ballard section of Seattle. Joe Doria (B3)and John Wicks (drums) were playing a weekly gig at the Sunset Tavern and this night featured special guests, Craig Flory and Skerik both playing sax. It was a refreshing side of Skerik I don't usually see - no effects. It's mostly calm grooves, that sometimes build, but don't go too over the top(a couple Mingus tunes as well). For a few songs, Craig and Skerik were even reading off of sheet music-I have never seen Skerik do that before. That's about as serious as you can get in my book. I have attatched a pic of the foursome from that night."
