Although the back sleeve of Upfront UPF-195 indicates "these recordings have been previously issued," this seems highly unlikely. The above titles come from a 1977 LP release which represents a less than audibly perfect live recording that sounds to have been captured around 1969, given the material, personnel and instrumentation. "Bache Bula Banka" seems to be a suite that includes an unidentified and unknown title following the "Bajabula Bonke" section and "The Band Began To Play," which Masekela sings as "the band begins to play," seems to be preceded by an unrelated theme that is also unidentified and unknown.
