a great performance from the band amidst some harsh conditions. The venue looks about as hot, smokey, and crowded as it gets. Jimmy had zero room to manuever, and got shocked every time he put his lips to the microphone. Despite all this, the band rocks pretty hard, especially on the atonal version of "where's jerry lewis?" and a medley of "lord grunge", "i only play 4 money", and The Beatles' "a day in the life". A stellar encore is the real reason to listen to this show, with the rarely played "hades high school", "stargirl", and the only performance of "love in the sand" I'm aware of. Don't miss it.
