Minneapolis
MN

Nowlikephotographs brings you an interview with Massachusetts post-rockers Caspian. Chris, Phil and Erin talk about the difficulties--and merits--of being an instrumental rock band on the road, the danger of artistic complacency, their influences and decibel readings. At the time of the interview, Caspian were promoting their most recent album "Tertia."
Recorded by Brendan Murphy and produced by Will Wlizlo on April 23rd, 2010. Nowlikephotographs is specialty programming supported by Radio K (KUOM) and the University of Minnesota. Mie La Cerva Malacoda Some Are White Light Concrescence Moksha Quovis Further Up Further In Brombie Sycamore
Notes (2010-07-08): The concert took place at the Jugendkulturhaus Cairo in Würzburg - a tiny venue which led to a very intimate atmosphere. This recording reflects the good sound at the Cairo. It's worth to point out that the hi-hat was mixed way too loud and the cracking noise during the last song (between 8:37 and 8:50) comes from the PA. Enjoy!
