Recieved this from a popular Concert trading site. Here is part of the info file. This is a compilation of Ministry rarities that have been made available for download as Songs Of The Week from the unofficial Ministry site - prongs.org/ministry. These are the highlights from live performances, unreleased songs, and demo versions from the past 20+ years. All are the original, uncompressed versions taken from the best sources I have been able to locate. Some have been reedited from the versions originally available for download, and all are superior due to being non-lossy. Due to numerous requests, these are being made available here. As always, I'm looking for any Ministry or related shows not on my list at http://www.darkstatic.com/~bisquitodoom/Bootlegs/Main.html. Please contact me if you have any. Info on the tracks: 1 was originally intended to be a single in the spring of 82. A video was shot, but probably scrapped due to the move to Arista. This is the studio version, as this song never saw an official release. 2 was never released, but was intended to be a b-side for the Same Old Madness 12". A studio version probably exists, but has yet to surface. 3 is from the Cold Life 12", and was later reworked into "I Wanted To Tell Her". This version features a mad keyboard solo by Al. 4 was a song from the Special Affect days, and only recently saw release on the Early Trax compilation. 5 is a demo version. I hope to have more infoon which sessions it is from soon. 6 and 7 never saw release, and were probably also scrapped due to the move to Arista. 8 is from the legendary unreleased Blackouts EP. The studio version recently saw release on the History In Reverse compilation. 9 is a song from the With Sympathy sessions that never saw release 10 is an early live version of the song that was significantly reworked and ended up on Land Of Rape And Honey 11 is an unreleased song from the post-Arista Wax Trax period 12 was originally intended to be released as an EP before Twitch. It never saw the light of day, and much of the track ended up as the PTP track "My Favorite Things". 13 is taken from the same practice sessions and is the only known recording of Al doing vocals on this track. 14 was written by Groovie Mann from My Life With The Thrill Kult. This song predates the band by several years. The music for this track ended up being reused forthe Lead Into Gold track "Hatred" 15 is another unreleased song from the Twitch sessions. Parts of the track were later reused as the 1000 Homo DJs track "Apathy". 16 is a Fad Gadget cover. 17 is the only recorded live version of a Lead Into Gold song. Paul Barker does the vocals on this. 18 is a completely reworked version done for the 1987 mintour. Al and Paul blew the advance Sire had given them for Land Of Rape And Honey before they finished the album. This tour was done to raise some funds. 19 is similar to the album version, but has vocals by Luc Van Acker. 20 is a demo version. This is not the same version as the studio version that was recently released on the remastered version of Beers Steer and Queers. 21 is a demo version taken from the Groovie 13 bootleg. Groovie Mann does vocals. 22 marks a rare performance off a Lard song. Jello Biafra does vocals. 23-26 are all from the Land Of Rape And Honey tour. All feature Ogre from Skinny Puppy on guitar. Ogre does vocals on 26. 27 was only done live twice - this show and the following night. K. Lite does vocals. 28 features Chris Connelly on vocals. 29 is a Black Sabbath cover and features Trent Reznor on vocals. 30 is a John Cale cover and features Chris Connelly on vocals. 32 is the reworked version of the Twitch track done for the 2003 tour. 33 and 34 feature Ogre from Skinny Puppy on vocals. 33 is a Magazine cover and 34 is a Black Sabbath cover.
