This is a from John Sinclair's broadcast on Wednesday, April 30, 2003. The first disc is a tribute to Earl King, mostly Earl's music from an as yet upcoming re-release of Earl backed up by the Meters(remixed and remastered). Plus music replicating a jazz funeral, which is what was going on outside the WWOZ studio window as the program was progressing. (You can actually hear Earl King's Jazz Funeral outside the window at one point in the broadcast when Sinclair is doing announcements.) The second disc is the second part of Sinclair's broadcast on 4/30/03 continuing with the jazz funeral theme and also featuring guests Will Porter, Bunchy Johnson, Wardell Quezergue, and Leo Nocentelli. (Sinclair showed up late and left early)
