J-Card Comment:

In between the recording of Diesel and Dust and the
subsequent world tour, bass player Peter Gifford retired
from the band and moved on to a new life selling skimpy
bikinis in Byron Bay.

He was replaced by New Zealander Bones Hillman. This
show is the earliest recording of the band with Bones
that I know of, and may even be the first show he played
(though I'm not certain of that).

Obivously it's also one of the first shows after the recording
of the album and has some of the songs earliest outings -
although several had been played in one form or another
before being recorded.

This is a reasonably good audience recording.
