DVD Notes:
-Audio synchronization and DVD authoring by MattMan (mlcole@wayne.edu) on
January 18, 2005.
-TMPGEnc DVD AUTHOR 1.6 used to author DVD.
-Adobe Audition used to compress/expand the new audio in multitrack mode to match
the original audio and convert sample rate to 44.1KHz (for VCD) or 48KHz (for DVD).

VCD Notes:
-TMPGEnc Plus 2.5 used to encode the 44.1KHz wav mix to mp2 for VCD and multiplex
the mp2 with the MPEG1.
-MyDVD used for autopadding MPEG1.
-VCDEasy used for analysis.

Audio Stream Notes:
-SHNs downloaded ftp from tol's etree server (thanks!).
-shnid=17262: Thanks to AJ for the initial seed. Seeded by Peter Braverman
(braverman@earthlink.net), May 2003. Some gentle EQ was applied to both ends:
+3 dB at 60 Hz (rising to +6 dB at 20 Hz) and +1.5 dB at 10k Hz.
-Original audio (noted as FM SBD): 17:42-17:47, 43:33-43:59, 47:19-47:35, 1:05:38-1:06-59.

Video Stream Notes:
-Source VCD Harvested by The Graceful Duck
-Source MPEG1 was originally encoded in PAL resolution (352x288).
-MattMan encoded to NTSC MPEG2 for DVD and MPEG1 for VCD using the Noise Reduction
(High Quality Mode) and Highest Quality Motion search precision settings.
High Resolution Motion settings in TMPGENC PLUS 2.5.
-Hopefully the source DVD will surface and we can improve the video stream!

flac16; Recorded by Dave Cohen 2 Nakamichi CM100/CP1 X-Y@90degrees 1 Nakamichi CM300/CP2 Nakamichi 550 w/Dolby B in OTS. Sony UX Pro 90 cassettes. Dolby B was used on the Master Cassettes. The Master Cassettes were played back with Azimuth adjustment and Dolby B decoding on a Nakamichi CD1 into a Korg MR1000 at DSF 1 bit 5.6MHz. Subsequent conversion to 24/96 AIFF done via Korg Audiogate software. Redbook CDR standard 16/44.1 files were created using Bias Peak, Izotope Ozone's MBIT+ (for all dithering), and Weiss Saracon SRC (all sample rate conversions). Transferred by Dave Cohen November 2009.
