"This remaster was done in Cooledit Pro 2.0. in several stages:

Originally I lifted the volume in quiet passages, to make it a more practical CD to listen to,
without constantly needing to fiddle with the volume controll.

I then found that in many passages these top of the line microphones captured an extraordinary amount of bass,
so it was impossible to listen to the CDs in my car, because the bass made the speakers vibrate and distort.

I then experimented with various settings of the FFT filter, ending up applying bass roll-off and a boost of the upper frequencies.
While this re-master is not for purists who like their recordings untouched I find it to be a more practical set of CDs for everyday use.

Listen to the included sound sample for a comparison of the remaster and the original sound, to make up your own mind".

I received this remastered copy on a DVD (in .flac format) from Gunter and I'm very impressed, you made a great and excellent work here,
really improved the original recording, Thank you so very much Gunter!
