J-Card Comment:

In 1972, The Who did an orchestral version of Tommy with the London Symphony Orchestra and guest
artists. Two shows in one day were recorded! One was officially released - its not that hard to find and
you get to hear Rod Stewart sing Pinball Wizard, Richie Havens sings Eyesight to the Blind and even
Steve Winwood sings.

This version features other guest artists (see the tommyinfo graphic and the artwork for a list) and is
a kick-ass addition to my Who collection.

Everyone's heard the cd Tommy. Most of us have seen the movie and seen and/or heard the 90's musical
version of Tommy but few of us have heard Orchestral Tommy!
