"The United States" This was a two-night performance, the entire piece being so long that on the first night (March 9)you heard Parts 1 and 2. Night two (March 10) was for Parts 3 and 4.

I got this from the taper about a week after the concert.
Unfortunately, over the past 25 years and all the moves I've made over that time, I have lost tape #1 of the 4 cassettes he gave me. Believe me, I've searched high and low over the years hoping to stumble across it - all to no avail. I don't think I'll ever find it and I know I'll never cross paths with the original taper again as we lost touch and we have both moved.
Tape 1 was all of Part One of her two-night performance that was "The United States".

This is VERY similar to the officially released version, which was recorded at The Brooklyn Academy of Music in New York City in February of 1983.
There are, however, a few big differences.
Some of the songs here are MUCH longer.
I used that album as a reference to index the tracks here.
There are tape flips where bits of the beginning of songs missing. Oh well.
