Tech Notes: | Anyway, this is a nice recording. I would say it lacks the sharpness or crispness of some other recordings, but sounds close, unobstructed and clear with plenty of bass. For what is apparently sometimes a poor sounding venue this sounds pretty good. |

J-Card Comment: | This show was pretty standard for the first leg of ZOO TV with a couple things to note. They were still developing the songs somewhat, and as such some of them still sound a tad rough (Bono Butchers "When Love Comes to Town" in what would otherwise be a slower, more Stones-ish performance). Of course this also meant that most songs were also a bit more spontaneous, and along these lines there are a couple end of song snippets that weren't done much elsewhere on the tour. "Slow Dancing" also makes one a handful of appearances on the 1992 tour. I believe this was the first "Unchained Melody." |
