Notes:

DVD 2238; lineage: cdr (obtained in trade, probably identified but unnamed taper, unknown lineage, lossless) > EAC to wav > FLAC Frontend 1.7.1. to FLAC Level 6

Tech Notes:

The quality here is similar to that on the February 6, 1998 torrent, and per the post from that one, it was probably the same taper, with his recorder in his bag near the rail/security. There are a couple of imperfections which I believe must have been in the master...there are two skips in D1 Tr 11 (I Still Haven't Found) at 2:33 and 2:56, the latter with a change in sound quality. There also is a change in sound quality in D2 Tr 4 Lemon at 2:26.

"The final night in Argentina is a killer show. Gone ends with Bono screaming 'and they will never tear us apart' several times. After Pride, Bono sings a few bars of Ewan McCall's Dirty Old Town: 'A lot of Irish came to Buenos Aires, this is a song from our town, where we came from.' Bono segues into a bit of Lou Reed's Walk on the Wild Side and ends with a part of All I Want Is You. While Edge is making his way to the B-stage, Bono announces that they are going to play Slow Dancing. Afterwards, the crowd starts chanting Ole Ole Ole, The Edge, The Edge, The Edge, and the guitarist plays Sunday Bloody Sunday beginning with the "Oh Oh Oh" part of the song.

"At the end of Discotheque Bono sings the first two verses of The Fly and later, during If You Wear That Velvet Dress, he pulls a girl on stage. She stays with him for With or Without You and they sit together on the steps of the B-stage. When she's let go, Bono pulls her in for a kiss and the girl sees some serious action.

"Mysterious Ways ends in an extended jam and Bono takes The Edge's hand. As they try to dance around, they end up tangled up in each other and break up laughing.

"One is dedicated to Jose Luis Cabezas, a photographer for the magazine Noticias in Brazil and a human rights activist. He was killed in 1997, his body found handcuffed and charrred in a cellar. He had been shot in the head.

"Once more, the show ends with Mothers of the Disappeared and this time Larry and Adam join in during the second verse."
