Midnight Oil as youíve never heard them before.

Celebrate with Robbie Buck and Midnight Oil as we launch Ausmusic Month with an extra special broadcast of the bandís incredible performance, recorded over two sold-out nights, at Canberraís Royal Theatre in 2009.

On Friday 2 November at 8pm, weíll broadcast some of Midnight Oilís most political hits and audience favourites, and feature interviews by Robbie Buck with Peter Garrett, Rob Hirst and Jim Moginie.

Itís live, itís never been heard before, and itís exclusive to Radio National.

The Canberra concerts were the warm-up shows for the Oilís energetic performance at the Sound Relief concert in March 2009, held in honour of the victims of the Black Saturday bushfires.

The RN broadcast will showcase a legendary Australian rock band still so full of passion, youíll be singing along with the same conviction you did over 25 years ago.
