J-Card Comment:

Thanks to the banter on the other upload, this has been identified as May 9th, not May 8th as it says on my tape. The quality of this version is comparable to the 8th, with a lot of tape stops/starts in between songs as the taper I think was trying to capture as much as possible on a C90? There are several what I would call very minor cuts because of the taper's desire to squeeze as many songs in as possible. However, it does not detract from the overall listening experience. Warszawa is missing a large piece at the beginning due to a late start by the taper. Bowie introduces part of the band (Carlos Alomar, George Murray etc. as being from "New York" as an identifier). Stay is missing just a bit at the end.

In any event just a magnificent quality show, especially for 1978, and if anyone can remaster go for it. I wonder what taping equipment was used, it's great sound! Fixing these great sounding shows is just a pleasure, maybe someone can do even more with them.
