When I remember in the right way ,all the people in Hamburg waiting
for a group with the name New Order, but the group have to play old
Joy Division songs.So we have through the complete show a lot of
people shouting for J.D.songs and the band react very agressiv,but
this was normal for the most shows in 1981, one show more ,other
shows less, but most of the people want J.D. songs.I think ,that is
although the reason , why New Order played such a long and agressiv
version of EGG.I think, this version goes 5 or 6 min longer than the
the tape,perhaps the longest version ,they ever played from EGG.THe other reason for this agressiv show might be the venue,a dirty old and cold Market Hall,a lot of punks and a lot of riot during the concert,so that I have to change the place for recording sometimes,you can hear this if you listen carefully ,perhaps with headphones.So, I have to stop now with my memories,download the show and enjoy it,the quality is much better than I have expected,In my opinion it`s A-,don`t forget ,it¥s an audience tape from 1981.
