The original recording of this show was higher-pitched than reality because the playback speed was too fast. This may have escaped the attention of some listeners, but anyone who tried to play along with the show knows it was approximately a half-step sharp. Strangely, a few scattered songs were at the correct speed.

This may have been done to squeeze the show into the confines of a standard compact disc, or perhaps it was just recorded incorrectly in the first place. In any case, I have used professional digital audio plugins to slow the recording down to the correct pitch. It's a few minutes longer than it was before, but it will fit on an 80-minute CDR, and the slight "chipmunk effect" has been remedied. The processing was done at an "ultra-high" quality setting, and because the original recording was already a slightly dodgy FM broadcast, there is no distinguishable loss of audio quality.
