J-Card Comment:

While everyone else not at FYF this night seemed to be interested in watching and tweeting about some candy-pop artist copying moves made famous by Madonna 20+ years earlier, a boy-band reunion, and a couple of robots standing around in flashy suits doing absolutely nothing; I (and a few hundred others) were at a REAL show with a REAL band, that involves arguably someone far more important to the history of music than anyone at that crap "awards show". I'm talking about none other than Buzz Osbourne of the fucking Melvins of course! You know the guy, if you're to believe the stories and accounts, that introduced Krist to Kurt, which lead to the formation of Nirvana (oops, am I allowed to say that word here on DIME?)? This was sludge/grunge/metal/whatever you wanna call it at it's finest. The sound, for being on a small stage, was pretty much perfect to my years, and the recording came out excellent. This was my second time seeing them (first was back in 2010), and I just have to say again they fucking rocked it. The Pop-O-Pies cover at the end was great! And let's not forget about Dale Crover, that dude is a fucking drum machine (and a pretty good hula hooper).
