| J-Card Comment: | This Gorillaz performance was 10x better than the Coachella show they put on. Perhaps they just needed to fine tune the performance and timing, or swtich up the songs. Gorillaz really delivered tonight though. There were powerful performances of the newer songs, mixed in with great older selections. In true Gorillaz style, Damon paraded one celebrity after another out to perform with the band on new and old songs alike. This show was also the first to get to hear "Doncamatic" live with the guest singer Daley, from Manchester, England fame. The show ends with what I believe is the best one-two punch Gorillaz has to offer "Don't Get Lost In Heaven > Demon Days". You hear the crowd cheer really loudly at one point during this part when "I (Heart) Gorillaz" shows up on the screen. Really a great way to end the show with that great singalong, with Bobby Womack coming out to sing "Can I get a witness!" at the end. Here it is for your listening pleasure. GORILLAZ! |
