J-Card Comment:

VG sound, no EQ was done. Some minor gaps removed. This recording is comprising of 2 sets. The first one sounds a bit dull compared to the 2nd set.
During the first song the recorder had some problems with the mic (left channel partly off).

Again a very rare recording from the SEETHELIGHT7 collection. The info that it is consisting of 2 sets I got from some comments by Cale towards the
end of set 1. It can also be that the 2nd set was recorded by another taper as the sound is remarkably different.
One interesting track is the poem (track 15) which is performed by another guy. The name is mentioned by Cale but I could not make it out.
The show took place in an obviously rather small club, the Gaspar's, then known as a place for punk/new wave acts.
The club is still existing but now under the name Schuba's and more oriented to "alt-country and singer-songwriter acts" accord. to Wiki.
To give an impression of the different sound of the 2 sets I have included 2 sound samples from the 1st and the 2nd set. Uploaded to DIME by Stacheleber 2013/12/26
