J-Card Comment:

original seeder's notes: received in a cd-r trade in 2003. certainly a few cassette generations here, but this set is indispensable as a powerful document of an angry "zen arcade"-era performance in front of a hometown crowd. damn listenable, too.

A very commonly circulated soundboard. According to Bob, sax player on "What's Going On?" and "Drug Party" is John Clegg, "a jazz/hipster dude who was on the periphery of the early Hüsker days. He worked at the record shop with Greg in St. Paul, and used to (occasionally) come down and jam with us."
