J-Card Comment:

Another from my tape reclamation project. I was actually at this show back in 1983: my salad days directly after graduation from college, and right when I scored my first job
making a whopping $12k a year! The ticket price was a reasonable $7.00, and I bought a Twang Bar tee shirt to show my support as I waited for King Crimson to return
(Merriweather Post, Columbia, MD, 6/30/84, but THAT is another story).

The show was General Admission (remember those?), and I got there early, with a buzz on as this was my first show in DC as a real-person-graduate and well, it was Belew!
I was on my own as my friends weren't listening to Crimso like I was, but as it wound up I met a bunch of people later who at the show. Then this tape turned up.

Just nudge the bass up a little. Don't let the audience tag on this fool you. It's very clean and not much crowd noise. I didn't modify the recording at all. As my mantra is "What sounds good on my speakers, will probably not sound good on yours." Get that special EQ of yours on, and crank it up!
