J-Card Comment:

When these shows were announced I knew I was going even before tickets went on sale. At that time
fellow Schoeps taper Scooter123 mentioned he wanted to go so we made plans accordingly. When the
tickets went on sale we worked to secure the correct seats. In the process I ended up with a few
extras in the 7th, 4th and 2nd row plus seats we wanted in section E. As it turned out there wasn't
the buzz for these shows as I would have expected and it took effort to give all the good tickets a
home. Upon arrival I still had the 7th row ticket. I arrived on Thursday night and met up with
Scooter123. We made plans to meet a guy with extras for Friday. One of these seats represented and
upgrade of 10 rows for Scooter123 which left us with one extra in the back of ection E. We met up
with my friend Jay who lets me stay when I vist and since we knew selling the extra would be difficult
we told Jay he needed to get off work and go and we would give him the ticket for cheap. After many
drinks we got confirmation he could do it.

On Friday I woke up did the traditional Zabar's run for breakfast and early afternoon got to Madison
Square Garden to meet Tom. We soon learn security has changed and now everyon is wanded visitng the
box office. Time for plan B and both Scooter and I were up for the challenge. As a team we solved
the problem. While waiting by the box office we ran into a guy trying to sell his single which was
3 seats from mine. He wanted 200 or 250 for a $330 ticket but had no luck. We went in and Scooter123 sat
in the seat until someone arrived. No one ever did and he wa able to swich to the seat net to me. Jay
then took Scooter's set and was right behind us. This means the two ources are a comparison using MK41's
with an NBox and MK4's with an NBox Platinum.

The show started and we knew this was going to be one of the Clapton shows where he is having fun and
playing inspired. When John Mayer came out for Pretending we knew some of the rumours we had heard about
guests were true. Paul Carrick sang You Are So Beautiful which was a real treat and Nathan East sang
Can't Find My Way Home. What a great version. The I Shot The Sherriff was one of the best versions
I have ever seen. Liten to the solo at the end, wow. Jimmy Vaughan joined in for Before You Accusr Me and
Derek Trucks and Doyle Bramhall III jpined in for Let it Rain which was the show highlight. For the
encore all the guests joined in for High Time We Went. Before the show the woman in front had the set list
and this was the only song I saw from afar. It was a rarity but the crowd around me wa great so no
screamers or whistlers ruining this recording.

After the show we went to my frend's bar reenwih Treehouse int he West Village and the drinks were flowing.
I wa also waiting ona friend to fly in late Friday night. She finally got to the barat 1:55 after flight delays.
We went and got food, brought it back to the bar and closed the place. Back at Jay's place we listened to this
recording and talked til well after 5. Good thing the next show was moved to Sunday. To Be Continued.
