J-Card Comment:

This goes back over 30 years (!) to the time when Allan was pretty regularly releasing new music. I'm kind of inspired to seed this because of a current controversy over Allan releasing some new material though Pledge Music. Allan is taking all kinds of time to put this new music out with lots of people being patient and letting things take their course, but others looking for someone's head over long delays and not too much information.
Allan has lots of music officially and unofficially available that attests to his brilliance as a player an writer. From my view, anything new we ever get to hear from him (even of this particular vintage) is going to be worth the lime to listen to and savor.A particular treat here is the chance to hear another great (and woefully under-recorded) British guitarist, Steve Topping jam on one of the tracks. I remember reading Allan say back in the day that Steve was one of his favorite players.
Thanks to whoever originally recorded this, and to the trader who made it available to me.
Please support Allan and all of the great artists he plays with here by paying to see live performances and by purchasing the officially available material.
