Notes:	Joan gave the closing performance on the first day of this two-day outdoor festival at the beautiful Planet Bluegrass Ranch. At Rocky Mountain Folks Fest, Joan had some technical difficulties with her guitars at the beginning of her show that caused the transitions between some songs to be longer than one might expect; especially from a veteran performer like her. Several extended periods of "dead air" were edited from the tracks. Perhaps this was due to the show being her third date of the tour and first in the U.S. At the same time, the sound was clear and the reproduction taken will be quite acceptable to most ears. The band, with whom Joan has played for some time, was very crisp. Joan's distinctive, melodic voice and her comprehensive mastery of the guitar only served to accent the richly crafted lyrics of her songs. This is an audience taped show, but the venue was taper friendly so the set-up was optimal, hence the great quality of this show. The line-up is: Joan Armatrading (Vocals, Acoustic and Electric Guitars), Spencer Cousins (Percussion, Saxophone, Guitar, Flute) and Gary Foot (Keyboards, Guitar). Thanks Elizabeth!
