Notes: | lineage: 101.1 FM WGIR radio live broadcast > Yamaha 500 reciever with digital tuner and wire antenna > Nak. BX 100 cassette deck (dolby off) > Maxell XLII 90 min. master cassette > played on Nak. 300 into soundforge (wav) > flac (sb's aligned) > torrentially yours. comments: this was the second-to-last show from the 1st full headlining US tour for the Black Crowes, touring their 1st album "shake your money maker" and their 1st U.S. national live broadcast. there are "silver CD" pre-FM sources of this show circulating. this is an over-the-air FM capture of the original live broadcast so the master analog cassette is the only tape in this lineage. The earliest Crowes official live album was recorded at this venue, but it was a show including Jimmy Page in part of it, and recorded several years after this one, in February of 2000. there was a live EP recorded in 1995 at the Beacon Theater in NYC. | |||||
