NAFAS is a musical collaboration between 6 musicians from different backgrounds and traditions but with an interest in the "Rhythyms of Life"
Yoam Sarshar (Tabla) and Masi Sarshar (harmonium) are Afghani Australians, born and bred in Bankstown and from a long line of Afghani musicians.
Philippe Lincy is from Guadeloupe and has studied African drumming in Ghana and other parts of Africa.
Bukhchuluun Ganburged is a recent arrival from Mongolia and is a renowned throat singer and horse fiddle player.
Chris Field is from the USA and plays drums.
