not as good as most of the others still I won't say that its listenable because its much better than that
Master recording from the main floor, rear GA section.
Sure MV88 Mic - iPhone/Motiv-Audio app (24/48) -
ProTools (mastered/EQ/Widen) - SoundForge (Splits, fades, FLAC).
The Stones brought their No Filter 2021 tour to Detroit last night,
It was their 21st time playing here. The sound was pretty good for
a stadium, the performance was great. Charlie was missed, but Steve
Jordan did a great job.
Sound quality is ok/good - I'd rate it a B/b-. I didn't do too much
to it - scooped out some boomy arena-lows, bumped the mid-highs just
a hair, widened and leveled. The first song fades in during the first
verse and there are a couple very brief gaps in a couple songs, but
it is otherwise complete. There is also some talking and singing in
close-proximity from time to time that is distracting, and a few points
where it gets quiet or muffled for a moment, it was a GA section and
people were close and coming and going, it wasn't easy to just have the
mic out and steady without crowd contamination. Keith's guitar takes a
noticeable and alarming (but cool) jump in volume at the beginning of "Sympathy for the Devil."
