This collection was lovingly compiled from several painfully fragmentary soundboard tapes. I thought it would be fun to present the highlights of these tapes as a coherent setlist. Vinnie makes this band, as far as I'm concerned, and I kept his performances in mind when picking the versions to include. Sound quality was also a factor and it ranges from good to excellent. Some of these tapes seem to have been made while someone was fiddling around with multi-tracks, so there are anomalies in the mix here and there, but nothing too distracting. Remastering consisted of EQ, limiting & sometimes some compression to smooth out the mix. Only the Dallas tracks suffer from excessive noise reduction (unfortunately applied by the original surfacer). None of the performances on this set have been officially released. All in all, it's a nice companion to the official releases "Tinseltown Rebellion" and "Buffalo".
