Here are my 16 lists. There are 1284 different video shows and one list of Dead related audio shows. I have more not on the list because I haven't added it yet, burned it off my hard drives yet, can't trade it, or haven't converted it from VHS and Beta and no one else who has it has converted it and seeded it. I haven't been trading for about three years now, but you can feel free to write anyway and I'll save the request until I get back into it. Be aware I probably won't respond until then.

To browse, scroll down to the VIEW LIST bar, choose a list and load it up. When done use your browsers back button and choose another list.... this change was necessary to reduce load time as my list grows and to prevent corruption of the database. If you see any artists you feel strongly belong in a different category let me know. Many of them are really iffy where they are. Expect the smallest lists to grow in time as I convert more of my VHS tapes. I wouldn't have made a separate category for them unless I expected growth by leaps and bounds. Thanks for looking!

* Trades only, NEVER for profit. Although I check everything asap, if you spot anything on my list that has *ever* been commercially released and sneaked by, please let me know so that I can remove it. You agree in trading with me that you do not sell music, have never sold music, and promise to never sell what you receive from me, make copies for sale or supply discs to someone else you know or suspect will sell them. I do not do B&Ps to avoid the risk a newbie will sell what I have given them.

* +/- R both okay provided you use only the brands listed below as ones I accept. If there is a choice as you have both kinds in brands I accept then I prefer the + format. Please specify which to record for you.

* I accept ONLY these major brands of blank media: Sony, TDK, Fuji, and Maxell. I have Sony players and burners and they are very picky about which discs they will read. Therefore, I CANNOT ACCEPT Memorex, Verbatim, Phillips, Ridata, CompUSA, Kodak, Matrix and other noname bargain or silver discs as my players won't reliably play them. In most cases when I insert these discs I get told "invalid disc" and can't get the data off them either. In other cases they play until they get partway through the disc and then abort or freeze. No thanks. If you send me ANYTHING besides Sony, TDK, Fuji or Maxell expect to have to resend it. If you disagree, don't trade with me.

* I won't write on your discs, I use one sleeve per disc (never two!) and I use bubble mailers. I also copy discs to my hard drive and burn them from there. Please do the same for me. DO NOT COPY DISC-TO-DISC, DO NOT PUT MORE THAN ONE DISC IN A SLEEVE EVEN WITH PAPER BETWEEN THEM, DO NOT WRITE ON MY DISCS, and do not use fiber/cardboard sleeves or mailers. DO NOT USE SCOTCH TAPE ON MY DISCS OR COVER UP THE HOLE WITH A POSTIT NOTE (put it outside the sleeve, not on the disc itself). If you do any of these things expect to have to resend. You shouldn't do these things on your discs either, but that's up to you, of course.

*Other than in the event something will not copy, please do not request things and then change your mind. I never do this to anyone. This is a waste of my time, discs already burned for you, and a drain on my hard drive and discs to copy things to my hard drive that then don't get made. Once you send me your requests they will be considered final and burned and if you want something else it will wait till next trade. If you get the same disc from someone else and didn't keep track of what you asked me for you will then have an extra to trade or one to give away. Sorry, but please don't make it my problem.

* If I initiate the trade I will, of course, send first. If you contact me, you will send first. This includes if you place an ad or post looking for trades. After we have traded once we can both send at the same time. I will try to find something from your list if you want something from me and will write you back either way and keep in touch during our trade.

* The audio on my list is mostly posted so I can keep track of what I have/want. I am only listing those shows I have the SHN or FLAC files for. I also haven't bothered listing my non-Dead stuff because it's which Dead dates I do and don't have that I need to constantly check and if I get a repeat or two of another band it concerns me much less. Most of my stuff is still on cassette anyway...

* About me: I am a 60s girl at heart and one of the few diehard female collectors out there. I tend to love classic acid rock and folk music but anything with strong lyrics attracts me. I saw my first accidental concert in 1968 (Chicago Transit Authority), my first voluntary concert in 1971 (Melanie on Broadway, back in the days when the audience was allowed to climb onstage), my first Grateful Dead show in 1974 (Roosevelt Stadium with Wall of Sound and live Seastones), over 300 Dead shows since (not including 200+ shows of spinoff bands which include Legion of Mary, the only USA concert ever by The Valentines and Keith & Donna Band). I am proud to have been at Live Aid, the first and second Farm Aid, the first Bridge Benefit, and the Elton John concert at MSG in 1974 when John Lennon showed up (his last appearance). I saw The Who with Keith Moon several times, Harry Chapin seven times before he died, Jefferson Airplane in 1972 before they broke up and in 1989 on their reunion tour, and Bruce Springsteen open up for Brewer & Shipley and Anne Murray in 1974. I saw The Rolling Stones in 1972 (Stevie Wonder got booed off the stage), in 1975 (Billy Preston got booed off the stage), in 1981 and every American tour since. Also in the 70s I saw Traffic, Loggins & Messina, Souther Hillman Furay Band, Poco, King Crimson with Bill Bruford, Grand Funk Railroad, Renaissance, Alice Cooper on the School's Out tour, CSNY in 1974 with Joni Mitchell accompanying for most of the show, ZZ Top in 1973, and Blue Oyster Cult in 1973 as well (just to name a few).

In later years I saw KBC (Kantner Balin Casady), Wooden Ships, the first show Elton John and Billy Joel ever did together, The Band, Pink Floyd, Phish (1994), and Frank Zappa open for Jerry Garcia Band. I was at Lollapallooza 1993, 1994 and 1995, the JGB Hells Angels benefit show (held on a moving boat, shown in the movie Hells Angels Forever), numerous free concerts such as Jefferson Starship in Central Park in 1975 and 1976, and before that I attended major demonstrations against the Vietnam war in 1967 where I was so young I can't even remember who exactly I saw speak and perform. I chose not to have children so I could continue going to shows, and one of my only regrets in life are all the ones I blew off and missed.

I saw shows at countless halls that no longer exist, have changed their names, or no longer host concerts, such as the infamous Capitol Theatre in Passaic, NJ (which always smelled like used socks to me), the Academy of Music (later became the Palladium, the real show was always in the mens room and back then no one cared if women were in there), Wolfgang's in San Francisco (destroyed by arson, but I have an ashtray I stole), Schaeffer and Dr. Pepper Music Festivals in the skating rink at Central Park, the original Madison Square Garden and Philadelphia Spectrum, The Other End, Uptown Theatre in Chicago, Roosevelt Stadium in NJ, Raceway Park in Long Island, and Merriweather Post Pavillion. Yes, I am old and proud of it. I'm only sorry I wasn't born a few years sooner.

Membership turns out to have its priviledges as bands break up or lose key members and people pass away. I see as many concerts as possible, buy commercial releases, buy licensed shirts at shows and try to support the artists financially as much as they have supported me emotionally through the years. Music is indeed your only friend until the end.

I am single and looking for another lost soul living in a fishbowl to merge collections and lives. Age is irrelevant, but you'd have to relocate and not be allergic to cats. :) I'm as into movies as tapes, and also collect golden age adult classics. And, yes, I know that too is rare for a female.

* Can you transfer Beta to DVD? If so, please let me know.
