02/26/2003 Ryan Boone This source has gaps between all of the tracks. I would guess that this is a result of whoever burned the original discs or whoever extracted them. (don't understand why dae was in this anyways, is converting wav to shn too hard?)

Also every file has a non-canonical wave header which needs to be stripped in shntool. I would recommend not spreading this source any further until it is reseeded free of bonehead errors. I just threw my shn's in the trash.

As far as sound quality, not very happy with that either. the high's are distorted piercing to my ears and there is not near enough low end.
02/26/2003 twatts Audigy Soundblaster soundcards do unnecessary resampling... And Mr. Mackey says: "Resampling's bad. Mmmkay?" Read here for more info:

02/26/2003 Noel Yunginger I agree with Ryan's comments on these shn's. While it's nice that these were circulated quickly, this source leaves something to be desired (I prefer quality, not speed). Almost sounds like it's burned on a stand-alone. Definately seek another source for this show.
03/03/2003 JWolf His 02/18/2003 source is also the same way as far as gaps go.

The path was DAT > reasmpled digitial audio (audigy resamples didgital audio) > WAV > TAO audio CD > DAE > SHN

so from what we see, there were a bunch of mistakes made here.
1. The soundcard resampled the digitial audio
2. burning to a TRACK AT ONCE CD when the WAv files were already there
3. RIPPING from this TAO CD

Just plain a really messy set of shows. Do not download them. If you see anyone who has these up for download, please tell the person how bad these really are so they can be taken down.
