03/30/2002 | Andy G | There is a digiglitch at 3:50 in d1t5 (Esther). Nonetheless, thanks to whoever finally transferred and seeded this gem.
03/30/2002 | Andy G | ...and a spot of diginoise @ 1:30-31 in d2t1 (Halley's)...
09/05/2002 | Mr.Marmar | Not too sure if anyone has looked into this....but I don't think this is a "SBD" so to speak. If you compare the quality of the recorded material of the 17th to this one, you'll notice that there are more effects (it's echo-y) and more crowd compared to the 17th. The instruments sound distant to a degree as well. (If any of you audio nuts out there have a HQ compressor in your mastering software, try putting some "FM" style compression on the wav's....hear the difference?) Leads me to believe this *may* be a Pre-FM feed...I could be wrong, but let your ears be the judge...also, is the digi-noise on the DAT's or was it from the DAE??? I got DAT copies with no diginoise on em....
09/18/2002 | Mr.Marmar | After giving these SHN's a through listening to on my DAW, I have noted flaws at just about each and every track index...There are sub-second dropouts at the start of each and every track, resulting in a rather loud CLICK....not to mention the above noted spots of digi-noise.

those glitches in between tracks are called Sector Boundary Errors. If you use SHNTOOL before you burn your discs you can fix them... read all about it at http://etree.org. |
