The .shn discs I recieved originally had a rather interesting problem. Audio discs made from these .shn files seemed to be
riddled with SBEs. No problem, I thought. Whip it through shntool and reburn. Imagine my surprise when the files all
checked out OK with shntool. The SBEs were definately there, though, so what gives?? I joined the show back together
via shntool and opened it with Soundforge to take a look-see.  It appears that at one point, someone had split the show up
into tracks and did produce SBEs between all tracks. They took a rather unique approach to fixing this. Instead of using
shntool and eliminating the errors, they simply rejoined the show and then tracked it again, properly this time. Would
have been great, if they hadn't embedded that unique SBE 'pop' within the tracks. Using Soundforge, I magnified the wave
form as much as possible, and cut the show into tracks, using the old SBE's as my track markers and removing them at the
same time. I ran the new tracks through shntool, eliminating any new issues, and rejoined them, as I was not happy with the
tracking as it was. I feel the sound is superb, so other than removing .0025 of a second here and there, I performed no further
editing. I then used CDwave to correctly track the show without SBEs, and WaaLaa!!!!--- now an annoying copy of an historic
performance is repaired and presented to you for your listening enjoyment.  Many thanx to Cathy Liebechen for providing me
with my original source shns.
