Missing first track: Birds of a Feather
Glitches in Too Much of Everything (as recording is being setup).

I received these discs from a guy and here's how he did it: He and his friends
said they were hearing impaired so they got a little earpiece thingy to put in their ears.
So....they hooked their recorder up to the earpiece and the rest is history.... =)
Pretty clever I thought...enjoy!!

Having listened to this show I have concluded that the connection to the board was probably
analog (which goes along with the story, a hearing aide is unlikely to have a digital connection)
and in some spots its rough (at beginning and end especially) but it IS a soundboard,
so grab it and enjoy!

01/09/2001 Adam Bishop Besides what is mentioned in the info file, I found no other real errors with this recording. And what a great recording it is! The only thing that would make this recording better is if the errors listed in the txt file were somehow taken care of with a great sounding patch. This is a must have even if with the one missing track. A true treat to listen to.
01/06/2003 kaje this was recorded with an ALD device> D8 via 1/8 in miniplug. Its a split mono master with...get this... the mids on the left channel, and the subs and highs on the right. also the right channel was about 30% vol of the left.
It was mixed back to a balanced split mono through a mackie 24/4 board (in post). After mixing back to a balanced split mono, EQ and some compression were applied via ProTools. It sounds ok, but it went through hours and hours of post, and all in all isn't a very good process for making good tapes.
The 7/24/98 Houston sbd was recorded the same way, and went through the same process, however there is a better copy of the 7/24 show that is a remixed matrix of the remastered FMSBD and a pair of AKG 480's>V2; although I don't think it has circulated very far.
