Welcome to the third row of the Starplex.
Certainly not the best sounding venue, but in a good seat, it can sound nice. And this is pretty much what it sounded like standing there. I've mixed this to sound more like you are at the show rather than have it sound like a soundboard recording with audience coming out of the rear speakers.
All final mix determination was done on a 14 speaker DTS system designed by Mark Levinson. Many thanks to nakguy for affording me that luxury.

This is built from the same sources I used to make the matrix, so the notes to that version still apply as far as patches and fm noise which are:
There is some on and off FM noise up through david bowie. There are also some dropouts in Birds and at the very beginning of TMOE. The longest of which is about 2 minutes. I call that the McNally Gap for reasons known to him. Times for the obvious SBD d/o's are
1:50-1:51
2:36-2:38
2:46-4:27
There is no crowd noise between Sample and PYITE. There is crowd noise and house music at the end of Bittersweet. The crowd music is the BeeGees Night Fever.

In the DTS mix, the D/Os are essentially a quad mix of the schoeps.

Mixdown:
The FR and FL channels are the almost exactly the same ratio's I used for the matrix mix.
The LR and RR are pure Schoeps source
The C channel is a mono mix of the board gained to -3db.
The LFE channel is from the Mono mix of the Center channel with a Low Pass of 100hz applied then gained to 0db.

Surcode DTS-CD Professional was used to create the final DTS wav files.

I see the caveat everyone has on their DTS mixes about never using analog with DTS. I'm not quite sure they qualify that correctly.
I prefer to listen through a DVD player with a good DTS decoder and 6 discreet analog outs. You can run them directly to your amps, or you can run them to a receiver that has 6 discreet input channels for DTS. You can, of course, run it via optical cable to a DTS ready reciever.
In either configuration it sounds more like the intended mix running through the 6 discreet analog outs rather than the optical out.
I would imagine this comes from the difference in the decoders. ( the DVD DTS decoder vs. the receiver decoder) In a cost effective solution, or as a beginner set up,  it's much cheaper to buy a DVD player with a good DTS decoder than a receiver with a good DTS decoder. Another option, If your rich and can find one, is to use an external DTS Decoder box.
In any event, NEVER play a DTS CD through a 2 channel Stereo set up.
