Well, what can I say. 24 hours before this show I was down in Cincinnati seeing Robert Randolph & the Family Band rip it up. Having my ears blown apart from their sonic bombardment, I had to settle for keeping my distance from the stage. I was back by the soundboard enjoying the show as I have enjoyed every Les related show I've seen before. Then, by reasons beyond my comprehension, Les pulls out the wild card. Adrian Belew. My god. I had never seen him live before and was completely blown away by him (anyone who can make a guitar sound like a sax is cool in my books). I see thi show becoming legendary and I'm just glad I was there to witness it. |
