Jonathan Dowdell **For anyone who attended this show: I was the crazy white boy dancing right in front of Robert Randolph during the encore. I'm not normaly like that, only at Family Band shows.
I drove down from columbus with my three other roommates, one of whom had never seen them live. After hanging out by the bar for Hazy Malaze's set (I thought they were horrible, but some people seem to like them) I mad my way to the front of the stage.
About thirty minutes later, The Family Bands shows up and I finally get what I've wanted for the past three shows of theirs that I've seen: a Without God opener. I was having the time of my life at this show (it might have been because of the morphine). This is definitly my favorite show of theirs that I've seen (with the gospel Tent Bonnaroo a close second). One note: during "I Don't Know What You Come To Do" RR pauses for about 10 or 15 seconds. During that time he is talking to both me and to the girl who was next to me. Definitly a personal highlight.
