OldNeumanntapr I drove all the way up to Henry Coe State Park in the mountains outside of Morgan Hill (South of San Jose) to record this show off of KPFA. David Gans had a Grateful Dead marathon on KPFA that day and he played snippets of vintage Dead recordings all day up to the start of the show. I recorded all of the 6/22/86 broadcast on my boom box sitting upon the mountain. It was quite a day. I remember that camping at Coe was three dollars a night! Wow, to have those days again. I also remember that Bobby was rapping 'sweet sweet summertime, all all all the time' in the middle of Lovelight. I'd never heard him do that before or since. I never got to see the Dead at the Greek, but this was nice hearing the show live on the air. I also recorded the 12/31/86 NYE show from the same state park off the radio, but it was a Lot warmer in June than December!
