spurr	Free gig put on by the Foo Fighters during a promo tour of Australia they did just a couple of weeks before the release of the "In Your Honor" album. A crowd of more than 5000 crazy fans jostled for any vantage point they could find to get a view of the stage. I was standing about 10 metres in front of the left speaker stack, but even to get there I had to be in place four hours before the set started. Plenty of people arrived at 7am to secure front of stage spots. A two song soundcheck by the band whet everyone's appetite for what was soon to follow. Everyone left the gig soaked in sweat after an energetic set from the Foos, with the new cuts "Best Of You" and "No Way Back" probably the standouts even though they were up against eight classic tracks from the Foos repertoire. Can't wait for the new album and definitely can't wait for the full blown tour later this year!	\| \|
