michael I was in High School at the time, went with 'a bunch of the guys'. Actually managed to get right up in front of the stage. Incredible inroduction to the Dead. New Riders Of The Purple Sage opened the show (with Garcia playing with them). Someone came on and announced that due to the fact that the CYC had to shut down at 11:00 ( or 12:00, I can't remember ) there'd be no encores, that the band would play through to the end. I'd like copy of this show, relive my youth, can do a B & P. Thanks for reading this.
