Diane I had the unmitigated gall to take my son (he was 3 at the time, almost 4) to this show. Alone. (Single mom thing going on & I really wanted to go.) Oh, the weather was dreadful; when we left it was raining sheets and we had such a loong walk out to the furthest edges of the lot.
He was such a trooper, never whined, never cried; he just put his head down and marched out to the car with me.
Of course, he fell asleep immediately once we were out of the elements!
I was afraid this was a baaad place to take a little kid, but hey ~ he is *my* little kid; and know what? He had a great time.
He's 8 now & swears he still remembers it.
People 3-5 rows below us made him cute balloon animals/hats/swords/etc. and passed them up to him. Our seatmates/neighbors were cool enough to keep their aromatics away from his little face and it was just the perfect experience!
He is still sad he didn't get to see Jerry (he loves to watch the Views from the Vault) even though he'd much rather listen to Sabbath or Green Day (?).

My memories of this show were mostly of attempting to keep a 3 3/4 year old HAPPY for hours on end but I remember the show being just wonderful and it eased my soul like I didn't even know I needed.

A third set? Gosh, how lucky could we be?
Sorry if you missed it, it was so worth the weather to share the experience!
