BEAT! BEAT! BEAT! was a live TV programme aired in selected areas of Germany in the years 1965-1968 primarily for American & British teenagers (the kids of US & UK soldiers stationed in Germany after WW2) in cooperation with AFN (Allied Forces Network).
Many famous (The Kinks, The Yardbirds, Jimi Hendrix, The Hollies...)& also lesser known British & German beat & pop groups, of which many have gained cult-status among 1960's enthusiasts (The Sorrows, The Monks, The Creation...) appeared live on the show. In contrast to the popular BEAT CLUB, programmes from this series were rarely repeated & are not readily available to music fans around the World.
