Origin: ASR Recording Services, Glen Rock, NJ, 6-21-86. Client: CBS Inc. Job was to "dub masters to 10" reels". It is probable that the tracks were put together for a possible project at that time. There were two reel-to-reel tapes, according to the production order. Unfortunately the fate of the first tape, with 8 songs, is unknown. The 5 tracks being posted now were taken directly from the second tape and converted to digital format for me by the owner of the tape. There are a few pops on 4th of July Asbury Park, and I'm checking to see whether they are on the original or if they occurred during the transfer to digital. There is also some tape squeel starting midway through Rosalita. If I am able to get a cleaner copy of Rosalita in the future I'll post it. Note: The tracks are being labled "D2" in hopes that the first reel will surface one day, even though there is no clue where it may be.

TV special was originally shown by the BBC in the UK in 1986. However, the source tape used for this DVD is taken from a rebroadcast in Asian and comes complete with Chinese subtitles. The documentary features an interview with Bruce circa 1985 and a number of complete songs, although several of them are official videos. Of most interest are two performances from Philadelphia in 1984 (?Born in the USA? and ?Cover Me?). A third track from Philadelphia ?84 (?Detroit Medley?) consists almost entirely of film of the audience ! What makes this DVD worth owning is not the OGWT documentary, but the extras. These include five complete pro-shot performances from the ?85 tour. Both the main feature and the extras come from a 2nd/3rd generation source and the quality suffers accordingly
