Dragonfly This was the first concert when I realized the "old" bar band Phish was no more and they were now a professional touring band of international rock stars. The show was good, with several newer compositions I hadn't heard (Axilla, Fast Enough) before plus Fishman standing up front, gesticulating in that ridiculous doughnut dress about "Sleep diagonal in my bed..." The solos seemed a little too slick, like Phish were putting on a show, not just a concert (most noticable on Maze). Gordon Stone's steel added an unexpected beauty to some of the songs. For the first time at a Phish concert I experienced the dreaded baseball cap drunken collegiate "YEEEAAAHHH" dudes, yelling and carrying on like it was a U2 or Aerosmith concert. Overall it was a good concert. But it definitely proved beyond doubt, that Phish had jumped into a bigger pond.
