1. Burn DAO (no 2 sec. gaps).
2. No mp3 sourced shows.

This is no longer true, I've moved & do not have my collection with me at this time:

I am always willing to do a B+P. I am not the world's fastest trader, but you will eventually get the shows you are due if you trade with me. The reason for this is that I do not own a CD burner. I have to use the studio at the radio station at which I work or friend's computers to burn CD's. I usually try to trade only in the US(due to postage costs), but I will trade abroad if there is something I can only get through those means, or if you have a real kick-ass international list. If you want a specific brand of CD, ask me before the trade what brand I will use(novel idea, no?). Don't be a whiny bitch about the CDs after I send them.

Quality Grades(subjective):

A+: Perfect recording with no flaws.
A:
Slight flaws or minor tape hiss.
A-: More serious flaws.
B+: Decent recording, listenable, but not much more than that.
B: At the brink of listenability.
B-(or below): Historic value only, only psychotic collectors need apply.

I cannot burn DVDs as of yet.

1. 06/02/68 Barn Barbecue - Whitlesey, England AUD B-     speed corrected version Musicians: Sandy Denny Ashley Hutchings Martin Lamble Simon Nicol Richard Thompson I(i)an Matthews Lagga's Notes: Richard Thompson in the foreword to Pamela Murray Winter's unpublished biography of Sandy Denny: "Fairport Convention in 1968 was a repository of shy, retiring North London intellectuals. Teaming up with Sandy was like a Mini colliding with a lorry-load of bricks. She taught us to express our musical passions, gave us a real voice at the sharp end of our creativity, and we played our hearts out with little thought of anything else." I'm happy that this old tape survived all these years to give you an idea what RT is talking about. This tape was recorded only 2 1/2 weeks after Sandy joined Fairport. It was their 2nd live performance together, but still it sounds like they been together for ages. And they really played their hearts out. This is Fairport Convention from the Heyday era with songs drawn almost entirely from contemporary American singer-songwriters. It is the first known live recording with Sandy and Fairport and truly a piece of history! 1 CDR notes
2. 09/01/68 Various - Various, Various Various B+       Not terrific quality, but the only live recordings I have from Sandy Denny's first tenure with the band. 11. 08/22/71 Ruisrock Festival - Turku, Finland SBD A       Dave Mattacks: Drums Simon Nicol: Guitar, Vocals Dave Pegg: Bass, Viola, Vocals David Swarbrick: Fiddle, Mandolin, Vocals NOTES: This is definately Swarb's Fairport. This the the Angel Delight lineup heavily influenced by Swarb's love of traditional British folk. Some sources list this show as being on August 23rd, but I'm convinced that is was on the 22nd. I found boots with performances by Canned Heat and Jeff Beck Group listed as August 22, 1971, but could find nothing at all listed for August 23 except for this Fairport show. Check out the excerpt from New Musical Express below for more info. NME, May 15, 1971 (excerpt from snippet on rock festival in Finland)... Procol Harum, Juicy Lucy, Fairport Convention and Mott The Hoople will also feature at the three-day Turku event (August 20-22), and the promoters hope to book another two British groups. Besides Canned Heat, John Lee Hooker will represent America. Groups will be playing non-stop for ten hours daily at the open-air site outside the city which attracted 30,000 fans last year ... 1 CDR notes
