Closing night on April Fools Day...this was actually released as an LP called "Rockin' With Elvis April Fools Day Vol. 2", but this come from my old cassette which appears NOT to be a tape of the LP. During Jingle Bells, The Colonel comes out dressed as Satan...oops, I mean Santa (freudian slip), and Elvis brings his dog Get-lo on stage too. The sound isn't bad but for some of the bands solos, the sound changes. It appears this is from another source of the same show, but I'm not sure. All in all, this a very enjoyable show from Elvis.

This is from the vinyl LP, and you can hear the crackle. I almost kinda like it, myself...though I have cleaned it up a bit. The last song is from a different show, that's how it is on the LP.

Infamous show where Elvis, while introducing the band members, accuses The Sweet Inspirations of "smelling like catfish" and jokes that Kathy Westmoreland gets "it" at any time, anywhere and from anyone. These comments would cause Kathy and two of three Sweet Inspirations to exit the stage mid-concert in protest (although they would return to the tour soon afterward).

Notes: Same cd as "Just Pretend" to a point - somehow Yellow Dog was able to locate the original master tape to release the COMPLETE show - this cd runs a 2:45 longer than "Just Pretend"!
"Hail Hail Rock 'n Roll" is on this release. That makes the bootleg of a bootleg more desirable than the original (something that doesn't happen often)
This cd features the unmixed version of this concert
This is the 10:15Pm show
Good versions of "See See Rider", "Trying To Get To You", "Just Pretend", "How Great Thou Art"
Elvis accepts a helmet with working windshield wipers from a fan before singing "Love Me"
"Welcome To My World" is a request
Elvis asks Sherrill for the words to "It's Now Or Never", and he reprises the chorus in an a capella version of "O Solo Mio"
