Notes: Nice audience recording, but there is a bit of audience chatter, most notably an overzealous douche who gets way into the sing-along parts of Terrible Lie and Burn. The show still sounds great, and the performance is amazing. Trent isn't entirely honest when he says this will be the only performance of Downward Spiral in its entirety, but whether it happens once or a hundred times, it's still phenomenal to hear all of those songs back to back, especially since these live versions add some cool new nuances to the tunes. Killer show.

Notes: Second NY show on the final leg of the 'Wave Goodbye' tour and what a treat Trent Reznor gave to 1500 singing, clapping, devoted fans......The classic NIN album "The Downward Spiral" played live in it's entirety and in order for the first time ever. And if his comments are to be believed, this was the only time it will ever be played in this fashion. This was never going to be an easy show to capture. The crowd intensity on the floor was amazing and the band definitely fed off the vibe to create an atmosphere that was truly amazing. This was easily the best and most memorable of the 16 NIN shows it has been my pleasure to have attended over the last 20 years. It is a night that I will never forget, and one that I am sure a lot of people will claim to have been at even if they weren't!! Despite all this I think the recording has come out quite well. There are points where the movement of the crowd made for some phazing, and this was despite the fact that I had my mic mounted on my hat. I have not remastered it in any way, shape or form. If anyone would like to give it a try, be my guest. All I ask is that you let me hear your final mix and leave this info file intact. Finally...I would like to thank Trent for all the great memories he has left me with from the last 20 years and wish him all the best for the future. Hopefully it will not be too long before he makes a return. I would also like to thank him for the open taping policy on this farewell tour. If only more artists had his vision. This recording is dedicated to my wife for putting up with me and indulging my obsession without criticism or judgement. Also, a big HELLO to our buddies Ben and Niha. It was great to see you both again. Stay in touch bro. ENJOY PIGS NINSlave
