11/05/79

The Spectrum
Philadelphia, PA
2SHN 3CDR 3 Source Detail Amazing set list full of oddities and rarities: 1) China Cat > Rider opens. This was fairly common in the early 70's and happened on 3.16.73. Then it didn't happen again until fall '79 when it happened three times. This was the second of those three. Then it only happened again twice, once each in '83 and '86. 2) Eyes > Estimated...By 1979, the reverse -- Estimated > Eyes -- was common fare. It made its debut on 5.7.77 (Boston) and was performed 13 more times that year before Eyes > Estimated appeared the first time (11.4.77). Eyes > Estimated did not reappear again until this show and then was put in the closet again for more than 10 years. It was resurrected in 1990 and became relatively common in the final years. But this show represented only the second Eyes > Estimated and the last one until the 90s. 3) Eyes > Estimated > Franklin's. Turn that list around (Franklin's > Estimated > Eyes) and you've got a fairly common set. But Eyes > Estimated > Franklin's happened only once -- at this show. It lasted for nearly an hour! Great show. Master Soundboard Cassette > Cassette > DAT > CDR; pitch corrected and with AUD Nak CM300 patches (see info file for details); mastered by Scott Clugston
