Notes: The master has excellent sound but it appears that the taper stopped his recorder during some of the long breaks between songs, missing some of FZ's announcements and a couple of beginnings of songs. The unknown gen version has speed fluctuations and loses the right channel during the second half of side A, but includes several bits left out of the master version. (It has the full show except for most of the Intro/Soundcheck and a tape flip during Think It Over.) Most of the fills are only necessary to completists, but FZ's Penis Dimension preamble (mostly cut from the master) is pretty funny. Fills: - Big Swifty applause and start of Greggery Peccary preamble (timewarp to 104%) - Greggery Peccary applause, buzz problem and Think It Over intro (Think It Over tuning fragment comes from the master due to speed problems on the unknown gen version - rechanneling and Timewarp to 110% was used on this fill) - first notes of Think It Over - Think It Over applause and beginning of Dog Meat intro - Dog Meat tuning and first notes of Dog Meat - Dog Meat applause and Penis Dimension preamble - Post-FZ announcement

Notes: A crude audience recording with various imbalances in the instrument volume levels, but a great listen for people who are fans of Zappa's large ensemble orchestrations which cross rock with fusion, big band jazz and avant-garde classicism. Interesting note: Jim Gordon plays drums. Zappa comments at one point that "this is the song that kept us out of Royal Albert Hall." before playing "Penis Dimension." That song, along with "Bwana Dik" were seized on by British authorities as scandalously offensive enough to bring about a legally doomed indecency trial.
